Dear families,

This week we entered the very special season of Lent which leads us into Easter! Lent comes around each year and invites us to take stock of our lives - to see more clearly what is in our hearts and to discover what it means to be the best version of ourselves. It is a time to consider how we respond to each other, how we treat our environment and how we can grow closer to God.

From Jan Richardson’s Blessing of the Dust;

This is the moment
we ask for the blessing
that lives within
the ancient ashes,
that makes its home
inside the soil of
this ancient earth.

So let us be marked
not for sorrow.
And let us be marked
not for shame.

Let us be marked
not for false humility
or for thinking
we are less
than we are

But for claiming
what God can do
within the dust,
within the dirt
within the stuff
of which the world
is made
and the stars that blaze
in our bones
and the galaxies that spiral
inside the smudge we bear

Parent Teacher Meet and Greets

Approximately 55% of our families booked a time to meet with their child’s classroom teacher. If you were unable to make it to the scheduled times, please touch base with your child’s teacher. Parent/School partnerships are a crucial aspect of our school’s ability to help us meet the needs of all the students in our care. We love having families in and around our school to chat about learning, student progress and to celebrate their achievements.

Western Bulldogs Footy Clinic Today

We had the pleasure of the company of Western Bulldogs players Tim O'Brien and Dom Bedendo and Liam from AFL Victoria today, running a footy clinic for our lucky students!

Parish Bulletin

School Photo Day - Thursday 9th March

Envelopes have now been sent home. Your child/ren need to bring them to school on school photo day.
Family envelopes are also available at the office if you wish to have a family photo taken. Family photos will be taken before school from 8.30am in the Multi Purpose Room.
