Dear families,
Many of you would have heard the exciting news that The Minister for Education & Minister for Women, The Hon. Natalie Hutchins MP has approved our application for a grant of $2,000,000.00. This will include Stage 1 of our Master Plan for new learning areas, covered external deck for outdoor learning and administration wing. I have been working with Law Architects and would like to share some initial concept drawings for our school. I will continue to collaborate with Sandy Law and our team to refine these drawings to meet the needs of our school. Please see the concept drawings below that were included as part of our Master Plan submission.
Staff News
Michael Trigger will be finishing up in his role at St Mary's at the end of November. Michael will return to a corporate role in the superannuation sector. Michael has been such a great addition to our staff team during his short time with us. Michael has continued to plan and implement rich Science learning from F-6 and Health in 5/6. He has taught across all levels of the school and has the ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students and colleagues. We will certainly miss him at School. Hopefully Michael can complete his studies and isn't lost to education forever!
Outdoor Learning at Adventure
Despite the weather we are continuing to build upon outdoor learning and play spaces at Adventure. Luke Preston has disassembled the fort that was in the main yard and will reuse the materials to build a cubby at Adventure. Some of the materials used for the Bush Dance will also be repurposed for that space.

Halloween Disco
What a great turnout for last night's Halloween Disco. Thanks to all involved, especially Michelle Start and Ben Naus from Marian College dj'ing some great Halloween themed tunes for us. Our students had so much fun dressing up!
