Athletics Carnival
On Wednesday we were blessed with wonderful weather for our annual School Athletics Carnival - our first at the recently redeveloped Gordon Street Oval.
The day was one filled with excitement, energy and outstanding sportspersonship as students competed across various events. All students gave their best effort, demonstrating skill, determination and teamwork.
One of the highlights of the day was the way in which students supported not only their own teammates but also competitors from other houses. Their positive attitude and encouragement inspired others, showing the true spirit of sportspersonship.
Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and a big thank you to the teachers, parents and helpers who assisted with set-up, marshalling, judging, scoring, timing, cooking the bbq and pack-up, helping to make the day a success.
The final results of the day were as follows:
1st - Lourdes 691 pts
2nd - Carmel 579 pts
