FROM THE LOTE ROOM - MS TAYLOR
Nǐ hǎo!
This last fortnight the students have been working hard at expanding their vocabulary. The juniors have been learning thank you and pets. The middles are excelling with their colours, and the seniors have practised family members. Everyone should know hello, goodbye, my name is and thank you. Make sure you ask your child/ren what they can remember.
The enthusiasm and excitement from all students every lesson walking into the classroom has been a delight. Remy was eager to engage in conversation, attempt tricky words and share her learning with others. Well done! Dexter has shown great confidence with trying to say new vocabulary and happy to help his peers with pronunciation. Awesome job! Congratulations to you both. Please see me next week for your certificates.

Our Easter Raffle tickets are $1 each! We have some great prizes up for grabs. If you haven't yet done so and would like to add to our growing pile, please feel free to drop an easter egg off for the raffle.
We are also seeking some baskets/boxes for the prizes if anyone could help out at all?

We are also holding a Hot Cross Bun Drive through Bakers Delight. A 6 pack of hot cross buns is available for $8.50, with $1.50 from each packet being donated back to the school. 3 flavours are available - traditional, choc chip and apple & cinnamon. Yum! Huge thanks to Bakers Delight for constantly supporting our school.
SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL - THURSDAY 25 MARCH
Our annual athletics carnival is on its way! We are hoping to borrow some gazebos for the day as shelter. If you are able to lend one to the school, please contact the school or send an email to boloughlan@smararat.catholic.edu.au
