PRINCIPAL LETTER
TERM 1 WEEK 6
Dear Families,
It’s hump week (middle of the term) and our school community is in full swing!
I would like to thank the families who participated in parent-teacher interviews and Student Support Group (SSGs) meetings. We desire to work collaboratively and in partnership with all of our families in order to best support the needs of our students. Teachers truly valued this opportunity knowing that strong partnerships between home and school have a major impact on student learning.
I am very much looking forward to getting my hands dirty during our scheduled working bee on Saturday 13th March between 9am-1pm. We will be focussing on tidying up the front of our school and the main yard. Our little people deserve to run around and play in a yard that is safe, tidy and looking fabulous. It would be great if you could join me and our staff team to help give our school a bit of a spruce up.
Our new and improved school website should be available to view by the end of Term 1. I congratulate Jess Praag who is working diligently to update all relevant information. Here is a sneak peek at our school prospectus which will be available to new families interested in our School St Mary's Prospectus
This week, as we move between seasons, I have reflected on the insights of Michael Michael Luenig. For me this prayer is particularly relevant as I continue my Lenten journey toward Easter.
Every Blessing,
Roxanne
DR SEUSS DAY - MIDDLE LEARNING COMMUNITY
Dr Seuss Day was on the 2nd March. MLC had fun reading through some of his most well known books and completing some activities. They had to complete a rhyme about what they would do with the Cat in a Hat, as well as creating Thing 1 & Thing 2 with their handprints.
